Dear friends,

Do you remember that promised trip to Madeira?

Yeah, time flies, but do you remember what was planned?

Walking on the famous Levadas and through the Laurissilva forest trails, with its water cascades and phenomenal views. Diving in natural swimming pools. Enjoying road car trips around the island, with a mandatory stop at the belvederes, to admire the sea, the mountains and the clouds all around.

There are also fantastic radical tours: canyoning, mountain biking, jeep tours, among many others. There is one thing that we cannot miss out: watching the sunset. It’s magical and the colours are out of this world! Do you remember those cable car trips to the fajãs? Still here! Oh, and those rides down the hill, in Monte’s toboggan wicker sledges…

Of course, it is compulsory to plan to go out for dinner. You can taste beef “espetadas”, fried cornmeal mush, black scabbard fish, poncha, bolo do caco (flat bread), Madeira wine and everything to your heart’s content! The old part of Funchal is very lively in the evenings, but whatever is your mood, you can experience a bit of everything in Madeira.

Oh, and you cannot come to Madeira without visiting Porto Santo Island. The boat trip is only 2 and a half hours, and the flight lasts 25 minutes! You’ll find one of the best beaches in the world – guaranteed. You will also enjoy hiking and strolling around the island. It is paradise.

Well, friends, let’s no longer postpone our plans. The time is now. The invitation is here.

You already know how it goes, we’re always in party mode, with open arms ready to welcome you. There are also plenty of fabulous places to stay in. Believe me, you will love it!  Besides, this  is a special year. It is our anniversary – Madeira is 600 years old and we want to celebrate it with you 😉

– This is the year to visit Madeira!

We are looking forward to having you here.

Big hug,

Your Madeiran friends
